British India
project info

British India
Collaborating with the talented collective that is Oh Yeah Wow, the project involved working on the new British India music clip to create hand drawn type treatments of phases from the first single Precious. Also to be a guide in the visual aspects of the surreal and colourful setups throughout the music clip.
Creating hand drawn typography that would be used throughout the music clip and also across the print and digital material, like the Vinyl cover and sleeve design to the CD and online visuals for marketing.
After many ideations of type design, layout and colour, the final treatments work in an array of ways once animated and also as still images. The single imagery for Precious has had great feedback from the band, management and of course the fans. Once the imagery and typography were set, we could then roll-out the vinyl and CD packaging for the album Forgetting the Future. Using images shot on film from the days shooting of the music clip, the combination of bizarre image setups and hand drawn type work well in conveying the story of the first single and also the album.
